hello! im actually busy studying for a math placement test today, but i wanted to take a moment to write how im doing. for good news - my blood tests came back completely normal!!! i cant even believe it. infact, i cant believe it so much that in a month or two im gonna go and get another test elsewhere just to make sure - lol. otherwise though ive kept going to the gym, diet is still going strong, its looking good. i will say though, that this week my weight didnt change at all :( i dont know if its because im gaining muscle, i weighed on an unlucky day (doubtful), or if im doing something wrong (probable). i remember the last time i lost weight when i cut out fast food and soda that had me steadily losing weight for like 2-3 months. literally, just cutting out that stuff. i was barely doing anything else. but now ive cut out that + cleaned my diet up further + started working out and im feeling a bit stuck already. i think ill give it til next week, and if im still in a slump ill track calories and what im eating. i dont really pay attention to my calories, and to be honest i dont like to. i just do rough estimates. when i track my calories too religiously i end up feeling guilty about every little thing. but - it is important to keep in mind it adds up. and doing it for just a few days can get you on the right track, it has for me before. overall though ive cut my portions, when i get bread/rice/potatoes i get a small amount, no fast food/soda/sweets, filling up on vegetables. oh! that reminds me: if anyones reading, i found a banging salad dressing recipe. heres a link. its a perfect copycat of the ginger salad dressing they have in hibachi places. its pretty healthy too, and you dont even need a big amount either. i just toss it on some chopped lettuce and carrots. well, ill get back to studying - see you later!
